You need room to think, imagine, investigate, experiment, create, and begin building a life that is actually yours.
The dream was never supposed to fit inside a dropdown menu.
A major matters. A career matters. Neither has to become a premature identity.
Your stories, lived experience, curiosity, interests, strengths, questions, and aspiration are not background noise behind the credential. They are part of what can make your work and contribution distinctly yours.
The goal is not to perform uniqueness. It is to know what is actually yours and build from it before the Default decides for you.
Human thinking. Augmented by machine.
A machine can help produce the résumé, essay, plan, code, and competent answer. That makes it more important to know what is actually yours: the question, judgment, curiosity, perspective, aspiration, and choice.
The machine can expand the workshop. It does not get the helm.
More than career readiness.
Career readiness asks whether you can enter the economy that already exists. Creator readiness asks whether you can participate in creating what the economy, culture, community, discipline, or world may need next.
That does not mean everyone becomes an entrepreneur. It means you do not have to graduate believing your only option is to compete for a slot someone else already designed.
